Update on Clare Three-Legged Stool Poets March reading

I’ve been meaning to post this for quite a while but other things keep getting in the way.

Our March reading was attended by a smaller than usual audience, due perhaps to the big rugby match to follow that evening. In any case we had an audience and a small number of poets read for the open mic, including Michael Reeves who read three excellent poems on the theme of rugby, and Brendan O’Beirne. Although Frank Golden attended he didn’t read.

The two guest poets were Arthur Watson who concentrated on his less well-known nature poems and myself. I read entirely from my earlier output of poems of love and disenchantment - I don’t have to list of poems to hand right now but will post it when I do.

In addition, Adam Agee treated us to some more wonderful fiddle-playing.
